United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) under the EU-funded Deliver Justice Project, successfully concluded a three-day training on Community Policing from 08-10 December in Quetta. The training marks a crucial step toward fostering trust and collaboration between police and citizens in Balochistan.
A total of 28 police officers, including 08 women acquired hands-on skills in inclusive, accountable, and community-centered policing, with a strong focus on local problem-solving approaches, conflict resolution, human rights and gender sensitive approaches.
Through interactive sessions, the police officers learned how communication and collaboration can enhance public trust and safety at local level.
By fostering trust and collaboration between police and citizens, the initiative supports a more inclusive and accountable justice system in Balochistan.
