A senior delegation from Balochistan’s criminal justice institutions participated in a study visit to Dublin, Ireland (20–23 October 2025) organized by UNODC Pakistan and facilitated by the Irish Rule of Law International (IRLI), with funding from the European Union under the ‘Deliver Justice Project’.
The visit brings together key representatives from the judiciary, home and tribal affairs, law enforcement, prosecution, probation, prison and women development departments to explore Ireland’s integrated criminal justice model, learn from its coordination mechanisms, and understand how data-driven management, accountability, and citizen engagement strengthen justice delivery.
Through high-level meetings with Irish counterparts, including An Garda Síochána, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Courts Service, Legal Aid Board, and Irish Prison and Probation Services, the delegation is observing how cross-institutional coordination enhances transparency, efficiency, and fairness.
The visit also provides a platform for networking and knowledge exchange between Pakistani and Irish officials to support the continued implementation of the Balochistan Rule of Law Roadmap — a strategic framework for improving justice delivery and public trust.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing justice, accountability, and institutional integrity, paving the way for stronger governance and safer communities.
