The Government of Balochistan, under the EU-funded Deliver Justice Project and with technical support from UNODC brought together Rule of Law institutions for a two-day consultative workshop titled as “Rule of Law Reforms in Balochistan – The Roadmap Experience, Reflection, Learning and Way Forward.”
The workshop included senior leadership and operational teams from across the criminal justice chain of stakeholders who collectively reviewed progress from the first phase of the Balochistan Rule of Law Roadmap, shared lessons to deepen understanding of the newly approved Action Plan 2024–2026.
Participants reflected on institutional achievements, data-driven reforms, ongoing challenges and operationalization of the revised PC-I, including allocation of the first-year budget of PKR 100 million. The workshop also provided a platform to improve data collection systems, and advance the adoption of key criminal justice acts.
Through open dialogue and a shared reform agenda, the workshop demonstrated Balochistan’s continued commitment to building a more accessible, efficient, and citizen-focused justice system.
