was successfully conducted by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) at District Central Prison Quetta from 07–09 April 2026 under the EU-funded Deliver Justice Project. The training brought together prison officials, to strengthen their technical capacity on PMIS modules, workflows, and troubleshooting.
With a strong focus on practical application, this training of trainers covered admissions, prisoner data management, medical records, court production processes, and system navigation. Importantly, the training emphasized sustainability by building a pool of in-house trainers capable of cascading knowledge, ensuring continued system use, adherence to SOPs, and long-term institutional ownership of PMIS.
Through enhanced capacity and system understanding, this initiative contributes to improved transparency, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making within prison management systems in Balochistan.
