United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) conducted a prison-wise on-the-job training on the Prison Management Information System (PMIS) at District Prison Dera Murad Jamali from 18–20 February 2026, under the EU-funded Deliver Justice Project.
Using a hands-on, workstation-based methodology, participants strengthened their ability to navigate key PMIS modules covering admissions, prisoner data management, medical records, circle office functions, conviction and remission processes, visitor management, court production, and workflows.
The training emphasized practical troubleshooting, ensuring sustainable system use in line with SOPs. Participants were also guided on how to transfer their learning within their respective branches.
This ongoing series of prison-wise trainings is helping enhance efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across prison facilities in Balochistan.
